As per RBI Asset Reconstruction Company is one of the specialized financial Company that buys the Non Performing Assets [NPAs] or bad assets from banks and financial institutions so that the latter can clean up their balance sheets. 

ARC principal business is to acquire non-performing financial assets from banks / financial institutions, manage them through restructuring, and resolve them in a time-bound manner through active interventions.

CFM Asset Reconstruction Pvt. Ltd. (CFM ARC)

CFM Asset Reconstruction Pvt. Ltd. (CFM ARC) is a Company sponsored by Chartered Finance Management Limited (CFML) and has successfully secured a license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 3 August 2016.

It is the first Gujarat-based ARC in India. The registered office is located in Ahmedabad with pan India operations. The Company’s eminent Board Members and Management come with extensive banking experience and stressed asset recovery/resolution specialization.

Rare Asset Reconstruction Limited

Rare Asset Reconstruction Limited, a Securitization and Reconstruction company, registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), under the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act, 2002, is in the business of acquiring Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and SMA-2 Standard Assets from banks, financial institutions and eligible NBFCs, and resolving them through appropriate resolution strategies enunciated in the SARFAESI Act, 2002.
